BMW motorcycles arrived in Japan with a limited presence during the Showa Era (1926-1989). Focus in Japan leaned heavily towards domestic manufacturers. However, a few dedicated enthusiasts were drawn to the German engineering and distinct style of BMW bikes.

Early models like the R32 may have been showcased at import shows or available through specialist importers, but widespread availability was low.  This exclusivity likely fueled the mystique of BMW motorcycles for those seeking a unique and powerful ride.

After World War II, stricter import regulations further limited BMW's entry into Japan.  It wasn't until the later years of the Showa Era, with a growing economy and easing of restrictions, that a more established network for importing and servicing BMW motorcycles might have begun to develop.

Although this product is no longer in production, its vintage design and sentimental value have made it a highly desired item for collectors. Each coverall features the authentic BMW product seal, ensuring its credibility and rich history.
