Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. is a Japanese oil refining and marketing company headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It is the second-largest oil refiner in Japan after Showa Shell Sekiyu. The company was founded in 1911 by Sazo Idemitsu and has since grown to become one of the world's largest and most successful oil companies.
