Naoki Hattori is best known for his brief stint in Formula One in 1991 with the Coloni team. Hattori began his racing career in 1988 in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, which he won in 1990. This success earned him a drive with the Coloni Formula One team for the 1991 Japanese and Australian Grand Prix.
After his Formula One career, Hattori raced in a variety of other motorsport series, including the Japanese Formula 3000 Championship, the Indy Lights Championship, the CART Championship, and the Super GT Championship. He also won the 1991 Spa 24 Hours race in a Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R.
The Bandai Namco #35 Racing Team is one of the most successful teams in Super GT history. With five championships to its name, the team is known for its innovative approach to racing and its commitment to developing young drivers. The team was founded in 2004 by Bandai Namco Entertainment, a Japanese video game company.
The team's goal was to bring the excitement of Super GT racing to a wider audience and to use its racing expertise to develop new and innovative video games.
